should be personalized to you. Having a doula is like have an unbiased best friend by your side
to hold your hand and help guide you through the birthing process.
I will be there to help you (and your partner) have a more positive birth experience.
I stay by your side. We work through your concerns. I help you advocate for yourself.
I encourage you. I comfort you.
I support your choice to labor and give birth in the place of your choosing, using the tools and
comfort techniques that work best for you. If you are feeling overwhelmed and
uncertain of what those may be, I can help ensure that
you are prepared and empowered throughout your birthing journey.
And once baby has arrived, should you need a helping hand and someone you can trust to listen,

"We hired Erin for the birth of our first baby. It was very important to us to have a doula that would be helpful, comforting and supportive to both me and my husband for the birth of our first baby. Erin was all those things and more both before, during and after the birth! Before the birth, we met to discuss things like making a birth plan and comfort measures. From the very first meeting, Erin made us feel comfortable and valued. She really listened to what we envisioned for our birth. Once labor started, she knew exactly what we needed and was proactive in her approach, including coming to our house, following us to the hospital, encouraging position changes, bringing cool washcloths, taking pictures, giving my husband breaks when he looked like he would pass out, etc. After the birth, she was still available and supportive as always including calling multiple times to check on us and our postpartum visit. We really couldn't have asked for a better doula. Without Erin, we wouldn't have had the amazing birth experience that we did. Everything about it was perfect, even though not everything went exactly as planned. I felt heard and supported the entire time. Overall it was a very positive experience and if you are considering hiring a doula (which you should!) I highly recommend Daylily Doula Services. I even cried when we had to leave the hospital and come home because those few days were seriously the best days of my life and I will remember them forever."

"Whether you are a first time parent or are welcoming another baby to your growing family, I highly recommend Erin! My wife and I felt extremely fortunate to have Erin, as our doula, for the birth of our second child. She was extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and always available when we needed to talk or text. For our first child's delivery, it was a bit of a surprise that for long stretches of time, it was just my wife and I in our hospital room.
